There is a high probability that the country you will be playing in does not speak your first language.
Other cultures have different standards when it comes to how they communicate, make plans, and generally approach life. This can be very confusing to many players at first so it is important that you familiarize yourself with the customs of where you are playing and remain flexible with how things are done. If you don’t keep an open mind, a small cultural difference can make professional basketball a more difficult experience and negatively impact your ability to perform at your best.
