NBA Africa Last Minute Signing

F.A.P. Cameroon of the BAL (NBA Africa League) was in need of a center only three days before their signing deadline after their last player was injured. Below is a short interview detailing their experience on Agent-Link and the process of utilizing the platform to post a roster opening and find a last minute replacement player.

1) What was the situation and why were you looking for a player?

After our current center was injured, we were in need of a post/center player for our training camp and to fill our roster for the Basketball Africa League where we are lodged in the Nile Conference! We had only 3 days before the signing deadline.

2) What was the process of finding a player through Agent-Link like?

We were put in touch with John Rigatti who helped us with Agent-Link. We created a profile and then posted our roster opening and began to get many players sent to us in the first hours. Getting set up was very easy and took about 10 minutes.

3) How many relevant profiles did you receive and were they any good?

We received about 10 player profiles on the first day from players and agents. We were interested in multiple players and after talking to the players or their agents more, we found the right player and signed him.

4) How long did the whole process take before finding a player to sign?

With Agent-link's multiple player profiles and roster posting ability, it became a swift process for us. We contacted Agent-Link on a Tuesday night and were able to sign a player by Thursday morning, well before our Friday signing deadline. We also received from their co-founder, John Rigatti, adequate information and advice that helped us move through the process easily.
